Hello everyone who’s following the journey, here is the update.

We just got done with our final rotation from Everest Base Camp to Camp 3.

Here’s the good news: I’m peaking at the right time. Climbing up 60’ ice walls either with ladders like you see or on rope is exhausting at 20,000+ feet.

We went up the Lhotse Face yesterday which is as steep as it gets and arrived at 23.500’ with no altitude issues. I’m sure there are other mountains like K2 that provide more obstacles but this one by far wins the prize as most difficult.

Next, we are hoping to take helicopters and fly down to 10,000’ to get some rest. Been out here over 40 days and dying for a burger or beer.

Probably will go for the top assuming weather cooperates in the next 10-15 days. Stay tuned.
