Nemache to Debuche

Today, we packed our bags and super comfy quarters at the Panorama Lodge located in Nemache to trek 6 miles down hill and then good steep terrain to finish it off. At the top of the mountain was a stunning Monastery which we were able to watch monks practicing their prayers.

I’m blown away at their ability to concentrate on their Mantra’s of good will and living a better life without the distraction of the world. Really remarkable. We plan to stay at a Rustic lodge located at 11,500’ for 1 night before we depart to Pheriche for a two night stay.

As you can imagine, we are slowly making our way up the mountain to build red blood cells which will allow us to live comfortably at high altitude.
